Hey guys just wanted to know what mods u guys are doing..Now im not talkin about big ones im talkin about the smaller mods electrical, body whatevern...Might sound stupid but i always wanted my car to do the cherp cherp like all the new toyotas do so i decided to knock that out (works like a dream) and im gonna mount a switch to open my hatch from the inside cause i hate to have to jump out and pop the handle so im gonna mount the switch somewhere havent decided yet so what are yall doin????

im gonna get my buddy that owns a stereo place and when i buy a new stereo im think about hooking up the sunroof switch to me steering wheel colum. just somthing to do i guess.

On the new toyotas when the car/truck is locked it goes beep beep (cherp/cherp) what have u and with the tC all u hear is the doors lock no noise with factory keyless entry....

that "cherp" is from the factory alarm if I am not mistaken

Exactly, I want to know if he pulls that off. If you can make the button look just like the other buttons on the steering wheel for the radio, that would be sweet!!!

How much that run you and where you get it from?? I have wanted that too. I hate it when you dont know if you locked your car wit that silent locking scion gives you on them.

man all u need is a piezo buzzer from radio shack, 4-5ft of wire and wireloom,crimp connectors, electrical tape and this...... http://youtube.com/watch?v=xGZP_WIhLW4

all together i only paid $3.57 ..I had everything i needed but the buzzer

One cheap mod that can make a huge difference is LED's inside your car and engine bay. Or painting your interior parts.

next is wireing my 3rd brake light to a switch for shows.

let me know how to make a button inside for the hatch, i would love to do that!

and i also plan on relocating the sunroof switch, just not sure whats going to go in its place.

Yeah i dont like paint on the inside but LEDs are a must.

on my 06 I wired up my horn to honk when I locked my car - you need 5 ft of wire, a diode (so the doors don't lock when you honk the horn lol), a resistor (to tone down the sound of the horn - without it, the horn honks sooo damn loud), and the information to know where to tap the wires...which I assume is in that youtube link? I used a wiring diagram and a test light to figure it out on my 06.

I want to do it again on my 07 cause I loved it, but I'm lazy and haven't found the time.

About the switch for the 3rd brake light I know Phil from Oznium has on on his so it blinks at shows.

As for shaving the coolant overflow I'm not really comprehending. Did you just cover it or actually remove it? D you re-route it somewhere else? I just don't see the point behind removing it completely.

I just wired mine to a piezo buzzer works great too!!!

All u need is a momentary contact switch,wire,connectors and electrical tap

There is a orange wire goin down the drivers doorsill tap off of that, then all u have to do is mount ur button where ever u want then run and hide all ur wires.....

mine honks when I lock it, but thats cause I have the alarm system lol.

A smaller mod I just ordered, were 2 oznium superflux led domelights. kinda tempted to buy a TBL.
