Anyone know about the offset for the tC?

I was looking at getting some rims but I noticed they had a 48mm offset- would that work for the tC?

They would work with atleast a 3mm spacer. You want to be between 40-45 mm to stay safe.

ok here's everything i know

they are 18x7.5 with a 5x114.3 or 5x100 hole pattern with a 48 offset

The larger the offset number, the farther in the wheel well they sit. You'd want to add 3-5mm shims or spacers to keep the inside of the tire from impacting the wheel well especially the fronts when turning.
