i had a stage 2 clutch masters clutch on my tc and now after i tuned it on 12lbs i made a little under 300whp and 300tq so of course i blew my clutch out !! i was wondering if the stage 3 clutch masters clutch would hold or should i go with the sprung hub 6 puck. and how forgiving is the six puck and forgiving i mean streetable. thanks for your help!!

Competition Clutch Stage 4 (because a stage 4 is not much more than a stage 3) And its really streetable.

In my experience, stage 3 is your limit for driveability - a 6 puck is going to make you miserable.
I haven't ridden different clutches on the tC, so it may be different, but I rode a stage 4 in an SRT-4 and it was AWFUL!

when I get my turbo kit I plan on getting the ACT street clutch. From what I hear its pretty smooth but has a good amount of clamping power. Hopefully ill be running the same numbers as you

This is from Joe Dezod. I got it from a turbo faq thread on SL hope it helps.
Clutch:
Get something that grabs and holds long-time!!! I wish it were that easy. Pedal pressure, engagement points, engagement harshness, and TQ capacity all play a major role in deciding which is the right clutch for you. We use the ACT street clutch on our Dezod tC. It holds 341WTQ and has a very smooth engagement. Pedal stiffness is increases so expect to have a stronger leg. This could lead to leg strain in traffic, but if you need the clamping force then get it. If you’re not making a lot more power than stock, the TRD clutch is a great upgrade. For most of those turbo owners out there, an ACT street clutch is one of the best options out there. The ACT race clutch is puck instead of a disc. Discs tend to be smoother on engagement but pucks have the ability to hold much more power. Do not buy a puck-based clutch unless you KNOW you’ll soon be making upwards of 400+ HP.

You know, I really couldn't tell you. I ended up putting it on at the same time I did my intake. Some of the other guys in the DE chapter said that there was a difference. I got the OBX vortex one though, there is another one that doesn't create a "tornado" affect with the air and the billeting is just straight. It makes a kick ass sound though Im constantly getting looks.

is it the intake making sound or the spacer? yeah that straight through design looks like a waste of money, that vortex one would be the only one that i think would do anything. and even that would be minimal. thankx

Its definitely the throttle body spacer. All of the other guys have intakes and some the same as mine. Theirs whistles a little bit, but mine is loud as hell. As far as performance though I dunno, they all say it makes a bit of difference.

hey have you reach the point that your fuel cut has kicked in? and did you have to build the engine to push that many pounds? the TRD clutch is a great upgrade. now why is this soooo good?
i dont plan on getting over 350 to the wheels. it just depends on if i have to do internals

Stay away from Clutch Masters my friend had a stage III on his 350whp Acura Integra and when he switched to the ACT Street clutch he was much happier and was able to turn the boost up without the clutch slipping. I am going to use the ACT extreme sprung clutch. The TRD clutch is only a sage II at best and won't hold that much power for long.

If its your daily driver then i suggest street disc, the pucks tend to wear out quicker and on top of that dont plan on taking any decent lenght trips because you WILL be miserable. Call the clutch manufacturer and let them know your Hp and they will get you a clutch that meets your needs but like I said try to get a clutch that meets or exceeds your needs but in street disc form.
