1) sup guys my friend has an xD and recently made it turbo 8psi, GT30, and tC injectors, pipe 2 1/2, with an external waste gate he has the current problem the D has an unusual injectors and the tC he stops the car, the engine is shut down,, but starts the engine fine, just after a normal run and stops again shuts down, now...with the stock injectors ran very well but obviously not enough compensation for a turbo kit, what can he do??

2) my problem is that i want to make mine turbo also, but don't know the real budget to get it and i don't like to buy things and little by little and later on the future install the parts, don't know if i can put it a NOS kit and how much can i put on the engine...

or stay n/a and if its a good choice and start altering the engine, 'cause the engine is very difficult for now to wait until brands start making stuff for it..

that thing is fucking sexy! I love the xd - and boost makes everything better lol.

Your best bet is to have your friend get his car tuned by a shop. Just running larger injectors isn't enough - the car is gonna run like shit and keep dying. I had a turbo on my tC and it did the same thing.

Very nice. What size are the stock xD injectors? Maybe toss in some RC 440cc injectors?

the tundra injectors are too much the stock tc are perfect just that is not long enough like the xD so that's why comes short, cause the D's injectors releases gas again a little shot so the car doesn't turn off when the car is stopping for example on a red light, the tc also can do it but his length is not the best one...

again thanks for every help, but at least that's what he is explaining to me, i'll see him on saturday, and the thing with me is that he is taking it very slow, on "finishing" the car and tunning it, but i want to build up mine, but have to wait for his results. also he doesn't drive it everyday for work like i do, so my gas mileage will be...:help:

yeah, you gotta get it tuned - the injectors aren't going to fix anything.

the problem is your decel tuning - when you let off the throttle, and close the throttle body, the turbo is still pulling in air, but it's not making to the engine...all while the ecu is telling the injectors to dump fuel to match all the air that's passing by the MAF sensor. So you run rich and the car dies before it can compensate.

The only way to fix that is to tune the car. No way around it. Tell your friend to tune the car before he does anything else to it.

So what is your friend using for engine management?

Is he aware of all the complications around our ECU's intereacting with piggy backs or other tuning devices?

yes he is aware, he is a tunner of only scion and honda for now, he's pretty good, but he is not currently tunning it with any ecu because like i d kit and he wants to do it right from the beginning like i said he is not on a rush because he has another daily car...i'll keep on asking on the thread and writting about the progress :pr:

No fuel management? That's the issue right there. He needs to get something in there for decel tuning..

you said he wants to do it right but by having no fuel management its wrong
