looks like its taking all the radiator hot air straight in the motor , i personaly would'nt use it for that reason

I think that one would work awesome if you had a billet, or otherwise open, grill. But if you had the stock grill it would be crap.

I know a few of us in NorCal have the Perrin CAI...I'm one of them. I am not sure what it does, but I haven't noticed a difference in the way my performs (not sure if it's suppose to do that....damn, I'm such a girl! :hiding: ). Sorry I'm not much help, I just drive it, put gas in it and make it look pretty.

i had like everything from them on the sti when i had it. you knows its gonna be quality.

i've heard good things about perrin, but i've didn't know what all they made for the xB. let's just say that i'm pleasantly surprised to see that they make an intake to go behind the grill (a lot of space there)
