I went to Autozone and got the anidized blue for mine, took about 1-1/2 hours to do it. You have to clean it with soap and water let it dry then spray it with the adhesive promoter, base under coat the last the color with clear.
I was VERY pleased with how it came out. It's very glossy and easy to just wipe off if it gets dirty.

I like red. I'm thinking of doing my valve cover red soon with the black spark plug cover. Going mostly black and red under my hood. I saw a picture on Dr. Isotope of red with black cover and like it a lot. I have SW too.

I vote flat black...I like the look of two contrasting colors, when you add a third it starts to look too busy, just a personal preference.
