TC Window Switches

I just repalced the LEDs in all the switches on the controls. all the windows work but when I try to use the auto up feature on the drivers side to control the passenger side it won't auto up, it will auto down. Has any1 encountered this problem before?? did I fry the switch or something? I don't get it. all the other window features work but that one. I'm confused!! HELP!!!

yea .... uhm did you disconnect your battery when you did the installs? cus thats normal. You have to roll them all down, roll them all up, some such order.. I can look for the actual sequence...

resetting the power windows
step 1 turn the key in the ignition to 'on'. step
step 2 on the driver's side control, push down (do not use 'one-touch' down) the power window switch for the driver's side window and lower the window halfway. step
step 3 pull up (do not use 'one-touch' up) the power window switch until the window closes and hold the switch for *at least* one second. step step
4 repeat these steps for the passenger side window on the passenger door window control. the windows should now open and close like they should. step

resetting the power moon roof
step 1 turn the key in the ignition to 'on'.
step 2 keep pressing the sliding roof switch to the close side until the center glass panel is fully closed.
step 3 if the switch remains pressed for approximately two more seconds after the panel is fully closed, the sliding roof ECU memorizes the fully closed position.
step 4 the center panel glass returns in the open direction a little and informs that initialization is complete.


then again you may try disconnecting the battery and setting it all up again.?

I tried that, maybe I'll try again if that doesn't work maybe the battery thing may help. Thanks Bryan.

I remember freakin out when I got home after putting in my CAI, all my windows worked except my passenger auto function. I was too proud to admit that I'd broken something... so I just dealt with it for the evening. When I got home and my roomate was done checking out the new toy, I sat outsie and played with it till it worked. Good times
