View Full Version : Charity Events For The Holidays

Howdy all

Not sure if this gets done with the car show crowd.
I belong to and am on the board of arguably the biggest biker groups in the US.
Each year starting around this time we organize a bunch of charity events to help the needy, mostly
underprivlidged children are our focus.

Killerglass 100% supports efforts like these and would like to be involved in anyway we can.

Please advise us if any worthy events are happening, we have a limited budget set aside for these each year.

Well, the United 93 has been modified to a Scion BBQ charity. But, I'm going to try and make it an "open" raffle so that anyone can enter. I'm recommending sponsors send gift certificates instead of items to allow a wider range of possible winner.

This is our current charity event that we have scheduled. I believe in October/November we will do a toy drive for the same group. I know we had it posted on this site, but I cannot find it. I will try to remedy that though.

I am gonna sticky this for a while if anyone knows of any Charity shows coming up between now and the holidays please place them here and I will add them to the calendar...

10/14/2006, Scikotics Ft. Lauderdale will be hosting an all Scion Show @ the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach, Fl.

100% of the profits from this event are being donated to the National Breast Cancer Society. I'll have the flyers soon, and if you all know of companies that would like to sponsor the event let me know. The more costs I can absorb through sponsors, the more money we can give directly to the Charity.

We also have a paypal account set up to accept donations directly for the event. The paypal account is Scikoticsftl@hotmail.com

Thanks again, we are getting a tremendous responce for this event already so look out, Scikotics is getting on the map in Florida in a big way.
