Fog Lights

Is there any way to make the fog lights independent of the headlights? Ie turn on the fog lights when ever you want...but still have them turn off when car turns off?

Couldn't you just hook them up to a switch, and then also the ignition? I have mine hooked up to my parking lights, but I did have them on a switch for awhile.
