I want to do a basic lowering on my gen 1 xB. Evil Dave convinced me that the gen 1 lowering is absurdly easy, so I'm going to give it a shot.

I'd like to get the TRD lowering springs, but figured that there's probably a cheaper alternative that will get me similar quality. So here's the question: Are there lowering springs of about the same quality as the TRD ones for less money that will give me the same drop, or am I just better off getting the TRD ones anyway? Be nice, I don't know a thing about suspension, and don't want to get really complicated on this.

...and Max, I don't want coilovers!

theres plenty of suspension options out there. The DF210's are always great. I have always been a fan of Hotchkis, I've run them on both of my xB's and they are great, a little firm but great.

I don't know what I was thinking... the TRD springs can be found on eBay for $92 and I can install them myself. can someone delete this thread please?
