I put a new Alpine digital media receiver head unit in yesterday and works great but i would like to know on one of the harnesses there is a white wire that i have no idea what it goes to. i have look up all wiring diagrams for the TC and could not find this wire. it is on the harness that has 5 wires 4 are speakers. is this wire for your phone interrupt or what? Question 2 i am going to install my amp and subs today what is the best route for my wires and i need to run my power wire from the battery (4 gauge) do i need to drill hole in fire wall or is there an existing hole i can use? There's $20 in it if any1 wants to come over and help me not burn my car down (i got marshmellows if we do).:thefinger: 378-0690

You can either look on Scionlife or call Clay. I'll PM you his number. He knows more about audio stuff than the rest of us. :)

i had a similar problem on the xB when I put a pioneer head unit in. i don't remember which harness it came out of, but the wire turned out to be the "power antenna" wire. funny thing is, before i found out what the wire was for, i didn't know my car had a power antenna.

well i got the everything hooked up and running f*cking great. next weekend i am going to start making the custom box for my 4 subs i just got 2 in there now. yeah i have a power ant. too but i hooked that up already. i still haven't been able to figure out what the white wire is for. i am going to call Scion's main office tomorrow and complain about this mystery white wire. it's will most likely be something obvious. :thefinger:
