Depends on your application. Do you have a lot of stereo equipment? Are you heavily modified? What year is your car?

Voltage equalizers don't give you any power - it just allows electrical signals to flow more efficiently, and makes your electrical system more efficient. It's something you should buy when you've got nothing left to buy lol.
