:md: balls. They claim life time warranty but you try and get it fixed and there tech support guy tells me they don't even make intakes anymore. They just came out with a new filter design........... :censored: :x: :wallb: :bann: AEM's dumbass!!!!!!! I am so frustrated!!!!!!

Tell me more, I just put a new AEM into my Xa. I really like it, it has good fitment and performance but I don't like that they are stopping production. Did he say when and why?

No but he is definitly not honoring their lifetime warranty. If you can get your money back go with someone else. I am about to ebay their ass and buy a knock off kick for the bottom piping. :guns: :x: :censored: :moon: :lalala:

I say do them one better and contact your CC company and tell them you need the charge reversed because you never recieved the item, or got the wrong one and the company will not take it back .. :rofl2:

They claim a lifetime warranty on pipes. I am just now getting them to consider replacing my pipe that broke at the weld. It seems that the tech rep doesn't like to do paperwork and say they aren't warrantied and they do not make intakes anymore. I shotgunned there forum and now the tech rep is bending over backwards to honor the warranty. Squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess. Will let you all know when/if I get my pipe replaced. :x:

Wow, sory to hear that, thats the first time I have heard of anyone having trouble with anything AEM :shock: . I was actually going to get the CAI for my tc, but after this I will be reconsidering...Sorry

I have an AEM CAI on my Daughters xB , and have had 0% trouble out of it .

overated... i bought a scion fx cai had no problem with fitment didnt even have to take the bumper off and perfomance difference is awsome more take off and definatly more tourqe and i only paid $89 dollars for it. And if the weld breaks i would just tig weld it back... But i'm sorry to hear about your problem....

Fixing it my self is not a problem. I bought AEM for the warranty so I didn't have to fix it myself. Still awaiting news from AEM. :geek: :doc:

Since tihs is an AEM rant thread I thougth I would put this here instead of wasting valuable space on our websites server.

I was recently holding an auction on ebay to sell my FACTORY intake, and I get an email today from Ebay telling me my auction has been canceleed by ebay. So I am all :x: and :mad: as hell and I read the email to find out why turns out some dumb fuck from the AEM Corporation complained to Ebay about my auction citing I was selling an un liscenced AEM product without their permission. 1st off I didnt know if we needed to contact the companies of our aftermarket products and seek their permission to sell our stuff WE purchased. 2ndly here is what my auction title said " Factory OEM tc air Intake NOT Injen or AEM or K&N "
it doesnt say anything about being liscenced by Aem nor did my description inside the auction. WTF assholes.
So needless to say Ebay pulled the auction and removed it from the listing because of some dunmb moron. :x:

Wow these guys went from cool to bastards faster than their drag cars can run the quarter mile (if they stay together)!

Dang I just wanted the AEM CAI because it was gray (match my tc), instead of chrome or colored. BTW thats jacked that they won't fix the problem after seeing that was clearly a bad weld/ workmanship issue, and not normal wear and tear! :crazy:

Latest update. Resent pics and info for a third time and now supposedly my replacement pipe is being fedexed to my house. Should be here next week. I have been talking/screaming with them for about 2 months and I am just know getting results. We shall see if I actually get my pipe!!!! :guns: :guns: :guns: :guns:

So I recieved my pipe today. Unfortunatly AEM has redesigned there CAI to be like injen's. So now they are sending me a new kit in order to fix my original. So close yet so far away. Will get pics up as soon as I have the new kit.

wow. never had a problem with AEM. but i have a Fujita SRI on the box and love it so far.

No they did not. I am thinking of fixing it and having two intakes. One for driving and one for show. Not sure yet.
