I am thinking about saving up for a used motor and building it up to accept a turbo better. I have been doing a lil bit of research but thought I would ask on here. Does anyone have any suggestions on what parts I should purchase or know where to get a good built motor?

im also looking to do this man. I figure ill build it like i did my gsx...Brian crower stroker kit, get the block sleeved, and a whole crower built head. Prolly slap the ptuning turbo kit in there...Thats just me though. Do what you wanna do. If your looking for crazy power, go forged stuff. Wanna be streetable, just go by sellers guidlines of what their products can handle and what their good for.
When your serching for whatever just punch in something like scion tc cams or scion tc crank and so on...

Cool thanks everyone. I havent really thought of a goal on hp. I just know that I love driving and working on my car and if I can make it even more enjoyable then I will darn sure try. I think around 350 hp would be okay. not looking to street race or track it unless maybe like in autox or something. I also wanna redo the suspension as well. Not building it for anyone but me so I wanna do it right and make sure it last.

I had thought about getting another motor to build as well. It's all just too pricey for me right now...
