Calling all xB's with Oznium HIDs

i need some install help. damn things came without instructions, so i called Oznium, and they wernt any help at all.

i get where to stick all the wires, and how to install the bulbs, but the biggest question is where the hell do i mount the ballasts? also, what is the best way to wrap everything up? im not down for some connectors just hanging in my stock harness. i dont want the chance that they will come undone.

also, i hooked one side up to test it. looked great except the fact that when i hit my high beams for longer than one second, and then try to go back to HID, the damn thing didnt light up! i had tested this about a dozen times, and its like clockwork. i have to briefly turn off my headlights then turn them back on for the HID to light. does anybody have this issue? just my luck its only me... :x

My ballasts are mounted on the rails right inside the fenders.

And all of my connectors were saudered but I don't know that that is absolutely necessary.

And yes, I have to turn my headlights off and then back on to get them to fire back up. But damn they looks so cool warming up............lol

The ballasts take a little while to break in. It's normal

Wiring is simple - just plug the 2 little wire posts into the harness.

Caution - the ballasts will get very hot so find a good place to put them.

ok. got them mounted and installed. now my highbeams dont work, but the high beam idiot light is always on when the lights are on.

im not worried about not having high beams though. i never use them. now i just have to lower the headlights. theyre pointing straight up! hahaha

You sure you put them in right? It sounds like you put them in where your high beams were.
