saw one a while back and again recently, its just a slightly lighter (could also say somewhat dull at times) shade of grey then FM sans the abundant metallic flakes.
there was a grey camry right next to it and it looks more like the shade of grey that is in FM.
and still seeing it in person more it doesnt grow on me. that line it the grill WTF?! and those silver accents are oddly installed, they are "mushy" attached, and i dont really get them, nore with the wierd "gills" rear lip, it doesnt seem to match the rest of the kit
the RS stitching makes them look tacky cause its way too big and in your face, lose that or make it way more subtle and the seats will be SWEET.
I do have that same style shift knob though, in silver/chrome/leather and i really like it.
one of the bigger dealerships in the area actually asked to not be sent anymore RS4 tCs after they got their first one in, LMAO!
i was expecting more and something more clean and good like they have for teh xB. i was all ready to switch out my kenstyle for it but now imma stick with my original plan.

The one at my dealership lasted one day, I had it detailed and put on the showroom, 1 hour later it sold, the body kit IMO in kinda blah, not a whole lot to it, and the "chrome" around the edges of it make it look yuck. The seats are sweet so is the razo shift knob, has Scion etched on the bottom of it!!! Over all looks real close to flint just no sparkle, Scion coulda picked a better color. But other then that not to shabby

I think you all are on point so far. I like my Flint Mica much better. The RS4 looks a bit dull. That rear lip is hideous IMO. The seats and the shift knob are definitely the only things sexy on the RS4.

you know how in ricer car video games you know how you can unlock different levels of paint?
IMO galactic gray would be the color the car comes with when you buy it in one of those games.
but we were talking with scion VP (same guy who made the Hako announcment) and the problem with the tC color pallete is the factory they make it in, they make a lot of other toyotas in there and there is only room for 7 different colors and that doesnt leave room for that crazy a color to be added and justify costs or something like that.
he asked what color we thought they could get rid of to help spice up the range and we told him to ditch the light blue, wave line pearl/Azure pearl.
a local dealership was also represented there and they agreed with us.
he was thinking of tossing out either flint mica or black sand pearl!

i dont like the line down the middle of it, but even after that it looks a lot like the grill people have been able to custom up themselves for years now.

In my opinion I do not like the new rs4.0... I was talking to one of my scion sales guys and he researched why scion doesn't release all these in bright crazy colors. The reason for them using standard colors is because in order for toyota/scion to use a paint on a car they require three years of durability tests to be done on the car... As for the xB colors they used that was because they were colors they had already tested on and didn't put into production on other cars... The new tC is the exact color they used on the 2004-2006 4Runners.

i dont really think it is worth the extra 2770. with that much you could go out and get a better body kit a shift knob upper and lower grill's and you would have some money left over you just couldnt get the seats

I love the "exclusive" shift knob... especially since I've had it in my car for 2 years now. :???:

while that might be part of the reason, cause the same is true for all scion models colors, each one was used before.
the main reason is the factory its made at, there isnt room or ability for a crazy color to be added. these are words straight from Scion's VP mouth. they have the ability to use crazy colors cause they can take them from the same place they are getting them for the xB/ they just can't fit them in.

From CarDomain.....back when they had they're own store though. I think it was around $70
It's the Razo executive line, comes in several different color options. Mine is black burlwood.
Google it, I just found several links to buy them for $70

yea, jack hollis is a cool guy. you dont get the I'm serious VP of car company vibe at all and seemed genuinely interested in our opinions, seriously one of the most lucky and best highlights of my scion life.
not every night you go out to a fancy restaurant and have dinner and a margarita on Scion's dime and talk to one of the guys in charge while he tells you all sorts of secret scion goodness.
