yea. well there is another guy around here with a silver tc and they are both car painters and designers and sstuff like that. well they are constantly in competition with each other who can paint the best so thats a lot of the reason why he did mine to show that the one he did is better than ol boys. and he wants to paint some more stuff on my car too. i just dont know what to let him paint next.

yea for all those who want engine covers painted i will talk to him sometime this weekend and see what he thinks. have to ship it here paint it and then send it back of course unless someone lives around him. ill discuss a price which shouldnt be much prob judge on what yall want done. i told him to surprise me on mine. i just wanted blue with silver writing. what a surprise huh. ill let him know and then let yall know. and as for the interior pieces not hard at all EXCEPT for the air vents. PAIN IN THE A$$!!!. gotta be very careful guy at the dealer says when they take them off at the dealsership for any reason what so ever 1 out of 3 breaks trying to get them out. the door pieces just pop off real easy as for the side window vents to ( the lil circle ones). the glove box i had to take off and tape and wrap up on the golve box that i didnt want painted to paint the handle wasnt too hard just used a lot of painters tape. only way i knew how to do it. the gauge pod just pops off want to lower your steering wheel as far down as it will go, makes it easier. now for the vents you got six or eight clips sorry kinda forgot. but u gotta carefully pry the side and bottom out slowly, and at the top u gotta squeeze a tiny screwdriver in to pry up the two top clips. be careful u will break the whole thing and the clips on the top are kinda far back in there. all i gotta say is good luck. once u get one the other isnt that bad at all. just gotta teach yourself how to take it out.

sweet, what kinda paint you use? it looks like it matches the other silver trim very well.

on a side note, since you have the wr sr intake, u should get the ebay filter heat shield, i just bought it and it looks sooooo good, best 20 dolla show mod yet. hopefully ill have pics of my car tonight to post up, i know its been a while since you asked for em, but im getting to it today, gotta register for the vip show here and they need pics asap.

awesome yea i used duplicolor sandable primer, self etching primer, and clear coat. but went to walmart to get the silver paint. funny thing is, is that its not silver. its called like metallic aluminum or something like that. the only thing that looked close to what i wanted and it did. it came out great. its got metallic to it but i still think it came out good. now for the even more funny part the paint matches the car perfect. took the paint and sprayed it on a piece of cardboard and took a brush to the car with the paint for a couple of indented scratches on the rear bumper. flawless. weirdly it matched up perfect. dryed the same color as the car. even the freaking dealship touch up paint didnt match as good as this did. kinda funny. but yea just primed em and painted them and what not. i think they came out really good. really smooth too.
