Which exhaust for the tC do you guys think is the best. I really don't know much about them so any info would be greatly appreciated...

Anyone have opions on the Borla?

And how about the Greddy Evo2?

Anyway, ANY help would be great....Thanks a lot guys.

Oh yeah--one other thing--Is there really such a thing as a Catback for the tC's. I know the Greddy Evo2 says it's Catback, but from what I hear, it's really not....

Again--Thanks

I heard the Evo and it sounds nice, but I think I'd go with a TRD (borla made) personally.

That's not the same one that you can add from the dealership is it?

Yep, though I've only heard it was made by Borla. I'm not much of a gear head, more of a technophyle.

I'd wait for others to chime in, my opinions on car parts don't hold water

Draxas.com

Full Catback stainless steel all the way through....high flow cat......resonator....and beautiful tip

it has been the best purchase i have made yet!!! adds good power and nice low rumble...not too loud either

It was the first time i ever installed an exhaust and the hardest part was jacking it up and getting the hooks out of the rubber holders...direct bolt on...no welding needed....

Here reference this thread for visuals.....its not the same exhaust ( and by no means do i suggest it either) but the same procedures are followed pretty much....its what i used!!!

Good luck with whatever you get.....

TRD is the easiest to install and sounds the best!

If you're not doing a header, go with the TRD!

Easiest install too - 2 bolts and 3 hangars.

I'd have to go with the Greddy Evo II

Those are nice if you do custom piping to compliment the muffer...since those are just axle backs....The catbacks will open more power and cost just about the same...especially the trd...not knocking the trd it sounds lovely..just over priced imo

I personally like the TRD which is the one I have and Christina has the same one...You've driven our cars so you know how it sounds and power and all that other junk on it.....

James has the N1 Catback exhuast on his tC you should listen to it this thursday...its a little louder than the TRD but that's with the silencer on it...it would be louder without it...But James kept his Silencer on....As for as installing....we both had Randy @ Sterling McCall to do it for us....He charged us about $40....Hope that helps Chicka....Let me know....

Again--Thanks

I personally like my Megan Racing Drift Spec exhaust. Not alot of people like it cause it is on an angle and not straight, but that does not bother me. It has a nice deep sound to it. People have told me that when I drive off it almost sounds like a Subaru WRX exhaust. If you wanna hear a sound clip there is one on my MySpace page at: http://www.myspace.com/gregger84

Liz - Eric from my chapter might be looking to get rid of his Megan OEM-style exhaust. It looks nice and sounds pretty good. Not too much louder but much deeper and nicer.

i have the HKS and i love it. i can't really tell you how it sounds though bc i have a header, s pipe, and custom mid pipe with it. there's no bees flying around though. it's a little loud with all of it together but still sounds deep

hks is deep no matter what u do because of the design. the fucking trd gets raspy and sounds gay.
