I just got my nav unit yesterday. Weather permitting I'm going to install it today. And I'll take pics...

Whats the big deal you may ask... Its the add-on unit for Kenwood HUs (KNA-G510), that I require to not get lost. I got lost due to outdated directions from a map site (maps.yahoo.com), and from that point on I've been determined to get a convenient nav unit. I was lost for 2-3 hours and wasted close to a tank of gas trying to find my way. I ended up using the directions that Eddnog's GPS gave him.

Seems pretty easy... HU data line, batt.,acc., ground, parking break cables.

Quick ? though... should I splice into my HU's lines (ACC & BATT)? or go right to the fuse block?
