Thanks everyone. I was already involved somewhat, as this is 08 xB number 2 for us. Our other xB is Classic Silver. And we were already discussing doing way with the pillar tape on both. :up:

I'd leave the tape. Looks better IMO, since it gives the appearance on one large window.

no. I saw somebody elses on here that removed it on one just like yours. It's the same on most of the scions. I didn't take mine off, cuz I didn't really think it would look all that great on the tC. Here's a pic of it done 2 the B-pillars and the doors on a 1st gen:

By the way this is Yaksha808's box. the 1st gen didn't have the tape on the a-pillar.

I have an xB2, took off all my vinyl too, looks MUCH better with it off but yea I agree on the tC you should leave it on since you can't do anything about the black around the rear side windows. In this pic you can see my front door with vinyl off Vs. the rear with tape on.
