Im the scion champion here at younger and i was driving around the 2011 tc today, and people kept telling me my passenger taillight was out. I checked it and there is not even a hole cut for the bulb to go in? Just curous if this is how its supposed to be or if scion effed up at the factory?

Wow... Sounds like the inspector must have been on a bathroom break or something... I do think that Scion messed up on that one. I have heard some people say how they never buy the first year of a new model because there will surely be some bugs that need to be worked out. I think this is the case here too.

I believe you are talking about the reverse light.... There is no Passenger reverse light on this model

That is correct. We just sold our first 11' tC yesterday and I noticed the exact same thing.
I took mine to the dealer yesterday to have someone check it out just to be sure. And they said it is not supposed to come with a light or wiring on that side of the car for that light.

If this is the case, I wish they would have just not put a white spot/clear spot on the pass. side light. I'm not a fan of amber rear turn signals either though.

Like what was said earlier you can wire it up if you like. It's like how the xB2 was until the 2011 with one reverse light. Toyota wanted it symmetrical but still different.
