So heres the deal, I want to get new headers and a cold air intake sometime soon, but I also want to get a Super Charger some time later too. Do the after market headers get in the way of the super charger? It seems like the Super charger is pretty snuggly fit in there...

also if I were to buy an intake now, would it be a waste? I'm not sure, but from what i've seen it looks like the super charger comes with an intake, honestly i have no idea, this is probably a dumb question. So basically, do new headers get in the way of a super, and should I get an intake to use or even replace the intake that might come with the TRD super?

these are the headers and the intake I want;

the Weapon-R headers that'll give me 24 horses

and the Weapon-R short Ram intake

Will either Void the Warranty??? what if i get it installed by the dealer or a certified technician?

Thanks

headers wont get in the way of the s/c, but the intake is useless with it, so if your going s/c, dont waste your money on intake.and the headers will give you about 10-12 horses realistically.

The intake would be a waste, but the Headers can stay if you go S/C'd. However, I'd spend the extra money and get the headers Jet Hot coated... Extraneous heat bleeding off of the headers will cause the S/C Shaft to go bad fast.

with those headers i heard you hav to install it threw the bottom or one guy just took of his raditor and it work. the intake on the other hand with fit for now but when u get the suprchargerer ur gonna need a new intake. and right now only weapon r makes a intake for the 08 supercharger.

Alright, so now I know the intake is useless once I buy the super later on.

Does anyone know if the headers will void my warranty?

If you put an aftermarket header on with the supercharger and the s/c shaft fails and it will it will not be covered under warranty.

First of all, let me say DAMN, that sucks! I just put a BLACK powdercoated injen intake on mine.. and i LOVE the sound it make with the TRD exhaust. (even though i just got pulled over for "modified" exhaust) ANYWHO, i've been toying with the idea of a super charger for awhile now.. and im still not 100% sure i'm going to do it.. but it sucks that i would have to get rid of the intake AND i have STRUP headers coming in Wednesday (black ceramic coated) that i hope i wont have to change if i decide to go SC'd. I guess there is a good side to having the SC on there.. is it's actually legal (right?) and the injen intake IS NOT. Well, the header wont be either.. so i guess it really doesnt matter.. GRRR.. you know with so many rules out there, its hard to wanna do any performance stuff OR even show stuff for that matter. Too many things are illegal.. (probably only in Cali. though).. If i do go SC'd though i want the different pully to get a little more boost.. haha.. hmm.. i guess we'll just see!

How could you get pulled over for a modified exhaust from a dealer option exhaust?
