i dont want to screw up and stick a screwdriver in the covers and break them, so unless thats the only method, anyone have a trick to getting those covers off easily? even if its just where to pry, ill take it. this is for all the inside dome lights (front, rear, and hatch) and license plate lights. thanks!

Should be a spot to fit a small flat screwdriver in on all of them and then use the screw driver to pop lens out except tag lights. On tag light I believe you have to unscrew the light covers from outside the vehicle.

Plate lights are from the inside, on the hatch door.

A small credit card or flat head screw driver can open anything on this car.

And for the dome light I HIGHHHLY recommend ozniums 25 led light, you will need to grind down the board a bit to get it to fit without a problem though.

got everything swapped. pix will come. hit a snag with the front lights. the passenger side connector pushed up into the roof, so, just telling the dealer it was never there when i tried to do the swap. :lalala:

I got these lights from DX : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13433

about two years ago and they are pretty great. Before I got my windows tented when i would unlock the doors with the keyFob it would light up all the cars around it. If you use the 6 LED one on they cargo light you have to modify the plastic housing by cutting or breaking off a little plastic tab. I replaced the dome with the 6 and the two map lights with the fours and they are crazy bright.
