springs themselves, i wouldnt spend less than $150, and i wouldnt try install by yourself unless you have some prior experience in doing so. but average cost of spring install is between $75-$150, i spent $120 personally.
another thing to remember is you have to get a 4 wheel alignment a few weeks afterward as well, which is about $70.

i have tein s-techs on mine, drop is 2.5" in front and 2" in back, i have 18" rims and my setup is straight pimp, with no rubbing or clearance issues. all in all i have 1" clearance from tire to fender(not tire to wheel well) in front and 1.5" in back. runnin 35 series tires(about 2" thick).

so all in all your going to spend a minimum of $300(probably in the ballpark of $350) to lower you car depending on what brand of springs you get and who you get to install them.

good luck, hope i answered any questions.

I have S-techs. You don't really have to have experience to do them. If you have 2-3 people working on it, you just need one person that knows whats goin on. We've done 3 here in SAB. It gets easier every time. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours with a spring compresser including smoke breaks. I love my S-techs, but the roads here are $h!++y so I like wore through part of my splash guard.

You also have to take into account that if you're ever going to put a body kit on that you can't get S-Techs because it will be too low. Also if you go S-Techs you're going to have to replace your shocks in the next 6-12h months and then your struts soon after that. If you're looking for a clean drop where you won't need to replace the rest of the suspension I'd go with H-Techs. I'll post pics later today of mine on H-techs. And you're chapter or one surrounding you should have a member or two to help you out.

still go with s-techs, I HAVE HAD MY S-TECHS ON FOR 8 MONTHS NOW WITH THE OEM LIP KIT(bout 3" lower) AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH SHOCKS OR SCRAPING OR RUBBING. unless your going with a huge bodykit(more than 4" lower than stock), you will be ok with s-techs. and i have buddy's with s-techs that have been riding on em longer than me and still havent blown out their stock shocks, its all in how bad the roads are in your area and how lucky u are.

Tein S Techs are probably the best in my opinion ! if you decided to put wheels you can fit an 18x8 wheel on s techs with just rolling your fenders ! Body kit you got to watch which one you buy but you have to do that with any drop ! With S techs you dont even have to worry about speed bumps or anything like that .

Hotchkis or Tein H Techs would be other alternatives !

shoot dont listen to them. lol. get the tanabes. i think they ride alot nicer than s-techs, and not that many people have them. ive had a couple guys ride in my car that have s-techs on their cars and they like my DF210's better. and its more of a level drop. where as the s-techs drop the front more than the rear. but at the end of the day its all in what YOU want.

Thanks for pointing us out Ryan :) Your springs look awesome!

The Tanabe look great and we do sell them a lot but it seems like the Teins sell better (they are a bit cheaper). If anyone needs help with their spring purchase, do not hesitate to ask :)
