I am interested in starting a WV chapter of Scikotics. I have at least 4 other people willing to join as well. What are the other steps we need to take?

Get them all to register on the site, and post up. One of the admins will take it from there, as far as creating your chapter forum.

John, see you found the site bro, welcome! Were you the one on SL that was looking to start something? I think it was you that I told about us, hopefully you can get the WV chapter off the ground, it would be awesome to have more neighbors...

I think you talked to one of the other guys, but I just clicked the link you posted in the "Charleston, WV..." thread.

I tried to put you as a referral, but your username is different here than on SL.

I really hope we can get this going as well, the car culture around this area is shit, and it'd be really nice to get something organized through a Nationwide group as opposed to local groups that seem to come and go one after another.

I think that we will have a good interest once we get the initial few together and we start rocking Scikotics stickers on our car etc.

Ah, nice work John. This is good stuff. I think we're on the right track to getting a good group/club together. Now we just need the damn weather to get right.

:ok: That's what I'm talking about! Spread the w0rd... WV is bout to become part of the family! Mike, welcome! Figured if you guys wanted a club that'll help you get something together, Scikotics has what ya need! We're the best club IMO, like I said, I used to be SE and of course, you see where I am now...

Not to bash SE now, but Scikotics is the club with the most! Friendly people/members, awesome atmosphere, worldwide and free! Cant lose!

The weather is awesome today. I'm off to go to a funeral, but after that my vrd fogs are going on for sure. I bought some different shrouds for my retrofit, so I gotta wait for those to get here so I finish that project...

The weather is supposed to suck this weekend. You guys still going paintballing? I may come since my wife has a teaching conference on Saturday.

I'm pretty sure Joe and Thomas will also sign up, maybe some of the others.

John, I'm not 100% sure about Saturday. If it rains Friday it's going to be crazy mud down there to play PB. I really want to go, but I'll probably what the weather is like. My wife wants to go, but she has some thing at her school in the evening. Teachers sure do have a lot of other "stuff" do to don't they? LOL

I was looking around here and saw there is a Lexington, KY chapter. Looks like one of my buddy's girlfriend's is in it. So if we can get a group together, we can roll up there for meets. It's only 2.5-3 hours away.

I PM'd Matt "tCMetalFreak" about getting you guys set up with a forum and what not.. he'll probably be in contact with some of you...

In the meantime, I would suggest trying to determine who is going to be the HMFIC and VMFIC... take some time and read up on the various threads throughout the forums, get to know them, etc... tons to learn and tons of people out there to meet...

Yeah Charleston (or the surrounding area) is where we are. Guess you could say it's the biggest city everyone is close to, except for Mark.

I ment in reference to Charleston being the central location, you're the only one (so far) that lives near another big city (Huntington). Didn't mean it in a negative way, sorry if it seemed like that.
