Previous Import Face-Off car show contestants,

Most of you already know, but new for 2008 is FREE ENTRY to all contestants who travel 200+ miles to compete at an IFO. Contestants must preregister in advance to receive the free entry voucher. Also as of now, IFO is a POINTS series. Points will start with the Shreveport IFO. Car clubs will receive points for winning and even just participation at each event. Point standings will be posted on the IFO website after each event. At the end of the year, two winners will be awarded, one for Best Club Participation and the other for Best Club Representation. EACH winner will receive $1000, 5' trophy, team bio space on the IFO website, plus much more (additional sponsor support to come later). Finals will be on December 14th at San Antonio Raceway. Points info (values, standings, payout increase updates, etc.) will be posted on the IFO website soon. All car clubs that compete at IFO regularly (Sunworks, Team Ikon, Scikotics, Kutsuju, Team 16 Niss, Tuned Innovations, etc.) this is for YOU!

participation is for the head count, representation is for the sickest cars, basically, the less bad ass cars you have representing the club, the better...

it would be pretty impossible to win both because in order to win representation you cars have to be immaculate. it's usually a club with 3 or 4 cars. i know when we won particiation we had 30 cars. so it would be almost impossible to win representation with 30 cars. hope that helps :up:

I would think that the money would go the club. It could be used for a number of things. I would like to see it go to helping with the website.

I am going to try and make the show on October 5th in Phoenix, AZ. That is the closest one to me. At least I know that I will get free entry to the show, lol. I am over 400 miles away from Phoenix.

The Indianapolis event has been canceled due to unforeseen, emergency circumstances. For those who don't know, IFO is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and we were hit the hardest, all during the planning/promoting phase of this event. We are looking to reschedule Indy some time in July, 2009.
