This happened in Kokomo a couple weeks ago. The guy is a friend of one of my close friends. A perfect example of a kid with a car and life he doesn't respect, he is lucky to still have his life. Burns me up that people like this dump so much money into their cars when they don't have the experience or the maturity to drive it. The pictures speak for them selves. He claimed he was doing 90 in his SRT when he hit the monument. Which is a monument for Elwood Haynes, completely made of granite by the way. Kinda ironic he hit a Elwood Haynes monument for the first commercial viable, gas powered car. The speedo was stuck at 82 when they some how managed to pull him out. The police report said the tranny exploded on impact, thats a lot of force. The picture of the accident was taken by a friend that was there. The pic of the car was taken by the police dept. Glad he is alive, everyone needs to see stuff like this before they are the next example.

I know how your friend feels. A friend of mine got killed a couple of months back. Cops say the driver of the GT Probe decided to try and race someone with my friend in the passenger seat. Took off and went too fast around a corner. Hit a curb and hit a pole. The driver survived and my friend lost his life to someone who wasnt thinking straight for a brief moment. Everyone remember what can happen at the fraction of a second...

Kobey,

Thanks for posting this up. Just a reminder guys and girls, if any member of Scikotics is caught or convicted of street racing, you are out of the club, period!
