I am looking for a black and white checkerboard rug to do some floormats.

I've checked E-bay and searched all over the internet but can't find a gosh darn thing! I've found like one or two but they're all by really artistic people (wow... checkerboard) and they're insanely expensive. I want it as big as possible because I need to do the 4 floor mats plus a hatch mat.

I'm going to continue looking but if anyone has something laying around for cheap then let me know.

Have you tried looking at Lowes or Home Depot in their carpet department? You'd think that there are enough crazy race fans that would want checkered flag carpeting to make it fairly easy to find. Also try places like Flooring America or places like that.

Ahh that's a good idea...

I just want to make sure it's thick. They'll only be in for shows but I want them to be thick enough to look legit.

What about Bed Bath and Beyond??? Linens N Things??? Just make your own if they are going to be for show.

kelsi go to jandofabric.com (sp) they have checkerboard stuff, wich you can do but probly only for show proporses only

JCW makes them for minis. Front and back. Its John Cooper works I think is what it stands for. they are really expensive tho.

can check a camping store too, the RV dealership I use to work at always had crap like that for people and their campers. Had a checkerboard vinyl awning too could have your seats made in to checkerboard hehe
