When posting a Do-It-Yourself, the general guidelines used on many sites and instructions is -
An Introduction-Usually info on prepping, any little tips and tricks
Parts list-Things you'll need to do the job (I.E. tools, parts)
Steps-Line by line process of the install (Pictures are extremely helpful, espcially if you even go into MS Paint and point out bolt points, or cut points.
Example of a good DIY Post (http://www.scikotics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16340)
Bad Examples of a DIY post -
"How do I jack my car up?"
or
"I swapped out my headlights, its real easy"
If you have any questions, or you aren't sure if it should be posted in the DIY section, post the article in the general Model Sections (http://www.scikotics.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=66) and then ask a regional or ask in your post.
If these guidelines are not follow, theres a good chance your post will either be deleted or moved.
