Clarify something for me...

Did you get an iPod connector cable supplied when you took delivery of your xD as well as a regular auxilary cable?


I did NOT and my stereo manual says "connect the iPod as indicated in the figure below using the supplied cable." This leads me to believe that I should have received one, yet when I took delivery last night, my salesman said it did not come with one and that I could pick a cable up at any store.

I've never seen a cable like the one pictured in this manual, so I just wanted to know if I should have received one before I go down there and tell them to go rip one out of another car. :lol:

Should have been in your glove box. If not, check the compartments in the rear. If you didn't get one, I'd go back to the dealership and talk to them.

Did you get the upgraded stereo?

Sounds like the rep that sold you the car is lazy or stupid. it is a standard feature on all xD's you should of gotten one. Like previously posted check both glove boxes and all compartments in the back. if you didnt get it go to the dealership or call your regional scion rep and let them know.

I'll double check, but I'm pretty sure all I got was the regular auxillary cable (found in the glove box) which just won't do! :lol: I did not check the hatch, but I'll look there too before I go down and demand my cable. ;)

Did I get the upgraded stereo? Of course! :) Sirius, too!

I didn't know if maybe that had something to do with it. I planned on swapping out the stereo this summer so didn't get the upgraded. I can't remember but maybe something's funky with the upgraded dial or something?

Either way you should still have it. Demand away! :up:

I agree with everybody else here, you should have gotten one.

I specifically pushed the issue with my salesman because he only came out with the auxillary cable when he brought me my manuals and whatnot. He had to hunt around the lot and finally came back about 15 minutes later with one.
