Removing Dealer Badge

would removing the toyota/scion dealrship emblem or w/e it is from the back of my tc be the same as debadging the tC one? and if i did do it would the dealership care if i wanted anything done to my car or needed other parts fixed? i feel like they branded my car and its ugly! :(:(:(

they might "care" if you removed it but they would not be able to deny you service or anything of that sort BC of it... you own the car you are free to do with it as you wish :D hope that helps answer your question

easiest way to do it is to take it there and tell them to take it off. i used the line "it doesn't really go for the look i'm going for.

whatever it is, its just using adhesive. I wish dealerships would stop using badges on the cars.
When I had my old cavalier I went out and peeled my little dealer "badge" off, it was a vinyl. It left behind a different color, so it still said Riverside Chevrolet on it :(

Mine was just a sticker... i peeled that off, used some goo gone for the adhesive.... done.

They won't have a problem with it at all.

I did the same as Nebster. When I took my car in for one of my free oil changes, I asked them to remove the dealer badge because I was planning on going to a lot of shows and wanted a clean hatch. They said sure, but I still think they were a little bitter about it because they left all of the glue/adhesive on the hatch. Oh well, I just used some bug and tar remover and it came right off.

I debadged my tC symbol on the back...I just took a piece of dental floss and gently slid it through the adhesive on the back. It came off really easy. The stuff left on the car, I took off with goo-b-gone.
