Vote on the one that you could do if you were faced with the option.
Then...post up which brand you would recommend based on what you voted for

Are you after performance or sound?
Performance-wise, the CAI is a better start. It opens up the incoming air. The exhaust is also helpful, so it is almost a toss-up. Still, I WOULD go w/ a CAI first.
For a CAi, there are several REALLY good options for xB2s. I got the TRD CAI, b/c it gives a full-band increase and esp. in mid-range (where you are most of the time on the street). Also, the TRD has a ram-air effect at speed too. All in all, a system MUCH better designed than I originally expected. There are several others that are excellent as well.
For sound, exhaust- hands down. Noise-wise and visually, the exhaust makes a BIG difference in both regards. I still haven't fully decided on which I would prefer, so I'm still using the stock one. The Strup, Borla, and Tanabe all have VERY good reputations and different sound and appearances.

I'd go CAI first. Def help performance overall. I'm looking at the TRD CAI for my xb2 and then going with the Borla dual exhaust for the looks and I love the sound of Borla. Had it on my old car (non-scion).
Def go TRD CAI first

Definitely not going for sound at this point. I will eventually but right now I'm just going for my 1st performance mod on the car. I've done a TON to the interior and exterior to dress it up. Now I'm ready to get some performance mods. As of now, looks like I'm rolling with the CAI first.

I started looking at the Tenzo and, not that it is a bad one or anything, but I had my eye on the Fujita to start with. So, cost aside, I think I'm going to go with that one.
I take it that it isn't too difficult to install?

Not at all, I didn't take the front bumper off like it says in the installation guide, I just lifted the car up and took out a few push pins(maybe a screw or two?) and pulled the plastic splash guard open enough to get the filter in from the bottom.
I bought Fujita cause I felt as it the quality of their filters and tubing was better than most. The only thing is if you get the polished tubes you'll have to take some polish to them every now and then to keep em looking shiney!

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Fujita CAI. Exhaust will be my next purchase. :)
