Side marker lights

I want to change my side marker lights to green and before I have to rip off the inner wheel well to get to it, I was wondering if anyone already new the bulb number (i.e. 194) that it is??

Kenny, the bulb is a 194. You don't have to rip the inner fender out, they just pop out of the fender. Just grab a hold of the light, and pull. It's a little hard cause they are in there pretty good, but they will pop out. :) I replaced mine and my g/f's stock side marker lights with clear ones and added color bulbs. We bought them off ebay for about $15.00 a pair.

Sweet! I was hoping they were 194's because its such a common bulb. Thanks for the info on popping them out, I fugured it was only accessable in the inner fender. Thanks again!

EDIT: Do you rmemeber the sellers name? I found a few on ebay and I just want to make sure I can get the same product since it worked for you =)

You're welcome!!!! You should check out those clear lights, the color might show through better with them than the stock lights. I don't know if it will, but it might. :-)


EDIT: Sorry it took so long to reply, I was going through all of my ebay receipts. I can't believe I actually found it. LOL The guy's name or his company name is scionxfactor, and they were 16.00 not 15.00. :-)

Wowzers! $15.99 for shipping that little kit?? Outrageous! I found a kit and asked the seller to reduce the shipping for a total of $15

That is a little high, but it is coming from Canada. That's what I paid for my shipping, they also came from Canada. I paid 31.00 with shipping.

My suggestion if you get those clear side markers is to take off the striping that's around them before you put them on. Mine popped out a few times and so have his and I took of the striping and they stay in alot better. It won't hurt the side marker or the light bulb. :bash:

Damn...Glad you guys posted this before I ripped out the inner fender well..LOL. I got the same lights off Ebay, I think I paid like $15 total for price/shipping.

:smartass:If ya look at the stock lights theres a arrow on it to show u which way to push the light then pull the other side out towards u. Theres a pic in ur owners manual shows u how to take em out. :aha:

Really??? Damn, I bought my xB used and didnt get a user manuel. I hear all kinds of things are in that little book!

BTW, I jsut ordered my green 194's. Im a green-a-holic. I have always said I thought neon was dumb...but I want some now! haha.
