please help, im goin insane!

i just purchased a 06 xb. i noticed that on the dash below the mirror adjustments, traction control button and such there is a cubby hole of some sort,then right below that cubby, there is another spot to put something in, it looks like there is supposed to be something in it, that slides in and out maybe? can anyone tell me what goes there if anything? and if so where i can find a replacement. It is literally drviving me insane.Thanks in advance!

Isn't that where the fuse/relay access is? Perhaps you are missing the plastic cover that goes there.

no i dont think that is it, it is above the hood release but below the traction control switch, im prolly gonna have to call maybe the scion dealership and see if they know. Thanks for the help

if it is the spot in the lower left corner of the dash just above the dead pedal in that bottom pic, that is the fuse/relay access. You are just missing the cover.
