Okay I want to get the stiffy ETD, but also want to get a Tanibe strut bar .
What I'm wondering is there enough stud on the stock strut to get the nuts all the way on. After getting two kinda thick plates of steel on there I'm not sure.

Anyone who already have both I need to know if it will fit fine.

If both the plates are about the same thickness i'd say it'd work, but you might have to get a different lock-nut vs. using the factoy one. I think my onld tanabe strut bar came with a new nut/lockwasher, but i'm not sure.

It should be plug and play kind of stuff. All you should have to do is take the stock one off and put the new one on. THats it.

worked fine on my TRD strut bar

my only issue was that the plastic cowl cover had trouble snapping down, since the strut bar was sitting 1/4" higher...never caused a real issue, but it was something I noticed.

I had the red Tanabe Strut bar along with the Weapon-R ETD and they both fit fine and the studs had plenty of room.

couldn't you just put the strut bar on first and then you wouldn't have that problem?

the TRD strut bar has this weird edge/lip on it that won't let you mount the ETD bracket on top of it...

not to mention, the ETD bracket uses the two inner bolts on the strut tower - the crossbar on the strut bar passes right between those two bolts...

so no lol
