Hello,

I'm trying to install an mono amp to run my 10" Rockford P3. I've installed tons of systems in the past, but this is my first using a line out converter. I just wanted to verify I've tapped into the right wires, because my amp isn't turning on. I've verified that I have power using a volt meter, so I'm thinking I'm having a problem with the remote amp signal wire.

For the speakers, I tapped into the rear speakers. I have 4 adapters in the back of the headunit (08 scion tc). There was 1 adapter with 5 wires... I'm sure I have this part right... my only concern was there was 2 white wires. I tapped into the thicker gauge wire (it matched the rest of the speaker wires).

To ground the scosche adapter, I tapped into the BROWN wire on the harness next to the rear speakers. For the remote amp turn on, I tapped into the gray wire in the same harness (ACC I believe?) Do these sound right?

Also, does anyone know which wire controls the stock sub in the 08 tcs? I'd like to disconnect it once I get my new amp up & running.

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure where the problem is!! :threat:

if you have 12V between your power wire and the ground wire then the problem has to be with the remote turn on wire. Does the remote turn on read 12V at the amp? Other then that your wire connections sound correct off the top of my head.

Thanks... I was hoping the wire connections were right.
