Sounds strange. Check your parking brake switch.

Top off your brake fluid. Trust me it will fix the problem!

when your brake light comes on it means something is up with ur brakes not necessarily ur e-brake as stated above check ur brake fluid level. if your fluid is low then u need to check your brakes

if topping it off doesnt work you may need a flush but topping it off is cheaper lol

No u need to check your brakes. If your fluid was low it's prob because u need new brakes

This happened to me a couple months ago, I was pushin' on 5k since my oil was last changed so I figured I'd take it to the dealer and get their thoughts. They told me the light meant the rear brakes needed to be adjusted (tightened up and all). They adjusted the brakes and tightened the hand brake cable and viola all fixed. Although since they were doing an oil change as well they most likely topped off any fluids.
