Ok I just bought a 2005 xB. It already had a black suede headliner and the B and C pillar are sueded but the A pillar is still that stock tan color. I am going to suede the A pillar to match but that leaves the little roof handles, sun visors and rearview mirror still the stock tan color.... what should I do?
Could you paint them or would it chip off since you are painting plastic? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!!

paint the handles and the mirror. wrap the visors in suede like the rest. When painting, just make sure you sand and clean it WELL. clearcoat or two at the end doesn't hurt either.

For paint, krylon fusion works wonderfully.

I used some vinyl & fabric dye one some parts, it works great with vinyl but chips on plastic.
I would use paint. If the color you want ia available in the plastic paint use that, if you want a different color you can use the plastic primer first then paint it, and then clear coat it.
I didn't sand mine first ( wanted the texture to still be there), just clean it real good to get all the dirt and greasy fingerprints and stuff off.

the other option is to contact patterntek.com they can color match the plastic parts and then they can put a pattern on them for you he has several to choose from check them out

Never used it but heard it works.
I have used Dupli-Color paints on all my stuff and haven't had any problems with it chipping/peeling and I've had it on for about 4 months.
Good luck Kalee, can't wait to see more photos of the box!!!
