New xB lover in Valdosta

Hi all, I am pretty sure I was the first Scion owner in Valdosta as I have now been driving my xB since 8/16/04. I have a white 2005 xB which had a customized paint job and blue rims with low profiles until just recently as you will see in attached photo. Now, I am pretty much back to stock white. If you see me around town you will definately know that not only am I am Scion lover but I am also addicted to SHIH TZU dogs! My kids say I am sick but I just like to think of myself as addicted. I had a pretty nice sound system in my car which disappeared one night around 3 AM so now I no longer thump, thump around town. Back when my car really looked sweet I was in June 2005 edition of MPH magazine with my car when I went to Daytona in March 2005.

Be sure to click on photo of my xB so you can view larger version of it and you will get a better view of the customized graphics and clear picture of why they are no longer on my car. :| They were not airbrushed but were hand painted to look like brushed aluminum and were outlined with the same blue as my rims I wore at that time. Engine cover and strut bar in engine as well as cold air intake all match the same blue. Posting another view here for you to see....

Hi Kristy in KC! My baby son who is 19 is stationed there in Fort Riley right next door to you, although he is currently in Iraq. I am almost half a century old and folks always think my xB is my kids' car and not mine. My son who is home with me was running around town in my car when a kid on cell phone ran red light and kinda messed up my pretty car. :x: Police officer was right behind my son and saw the whole thing so there was no question who was at fault, lucky for my son...lol.

Yes I know where Fort Riley is, I know it must be hard without your son. My cousin is in basic training now, he will graduate in May and then he will more than likely be leaving for Iraq. It's very sad, especially since they have their whole lives ahead of them and families at home. I will pray for son that he comes home safe and sound.

Aww hun I'm sorry. I would cry if something ever happened to my xB, especially since I have tried to make it a reflection of me. At least your son is ok though, cars can be replaced.
