i have a trd axel back again and was wondering what a good midpipe and s pipe would be good to pair with it. and if i got headers what else would i need to do to keep the trd with no rasp?

also would a dif midpipe and s pipe change the sound of the exhaust?

megan makes a mid and s pipe and also tsudo makes the mid pipe but you gonna need at least two 15' resonators to get rid of the rasp

im partial to the meagan racing parts, and you would probably need an extra resonator, but i would install the parts first then decide if a resonator is needed

ok what about the 18inch resonator that comes with the tsudo midpipe with another 15 inch resonator added to it. would that be enough? and also getting rid of the rasp wouldnt u lose sound volume as well?

^^^ yeah dat will do it

so im thinking about running an invidia s pipe with the tsudo midpipe and trd axel back. maybe later on getting the dc sports headers or most likely get the weapon r headers. and get another resonator put in in front of the 18 inch resonator. where can i get another resonator from?

I installed a 12" turbopack on my tsudo which killed the rasp and gave it a nice deep tone.... unfortunately it robbed me of about 20% hp..... so I picked up a spare midpipe for track days lol.

Megan s-pipe and midpipe are only 2.25". Invidia S-Pipe is 2.5". Tsudo Exhaust's midpipe is 2.5".

Buschur Racing has a 2.5" S-pipe and midpipe.

yea thats what turned me down on the megan as well. i think ima go with the invidia and tsudo or the other. but def want 2.5" piping. what will the pipe size dif do?

Less restriction on the exhaust. The less restrictive, the better.

ok good. will also help out a lot when i go f/i as well. what exhaust do u have?

yeah he is right. i would go with 2.5. less restrictive, the better as Krdshrk said.

yea so tsudo midpipe and invidia s pipe? is that the agreement? and if i just bought some cheaper headers to give it a lil more juice till i get paid buy an extra resonator to go along with it. with turbo do u get rasp as well?

2.5" is good for turbo apps for the tC too. I have the Buschur Racing S-Pipe (Which was what ZPI was selling), and the Tsudo midpipe + my TRD Axelback.

No rasp cuz of the turbo.

o ok all i wanted to know. so a turbo to s pipe and tsudo midpipe to trd axel would be a good deal? how does urs sound?

the welds on megan's s-pipe will crack over time trust me i had 2 of them in less then 3 months but the first one cracked after driving for about 7 hours straight & then i called up megan to see WTF and they told me to ship it back to them & they would re send me a new one & the one only lasted for about 2 months then bam the welds cracked.. the reason i know the welds cracked was i was using a car lift when i was going to make more changes on my exhaust system...

also once you go with a DC sport header your call will be rapsy i do nto think that there is a way to lose the %100 rasp & still make the TRD exhaust system sound like it dosebefore you do all these extra mods..

good luck

my generic s-pipe has reinforcement brackets welded around the pipe welds to further strengthen the joint. i noticed during the install and it looked a little like overkill to me until i read that s-pipe welds break.

another woooohoooo!!! for my generic find. can beat it for $70 shipped.
