Enter you specific vehicle and it gives you harness model, installation kit model, and speaker size and location in your vehicle. In order to get detail info you need to subscribe but with the model number you can just copy and search in google.

Can I Please have the password? I JUST tried to install my subwoofer in my tC with a friend from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am!! It's freakin' crazy! We couldn't figure out how to power up the amp! It just wouldn't power up. I'm using a SONY CDX-MP40 model deck and I don't know how The Good Guys wired it to make the sub work in the previous car I had. The Good Guys are no more (Went out of business) I guess. We're stumped on how to get these wires to work the amp. There is power, but the deck doesn't have any kind of switch for the amp to turn on. If someone know's the schematics on the wiring the harness from the SONY CDX-MP40 deck to a Legacy 2 Ch 900W amp, please please let me know. Thanks so much!!

The HU should have a "remote" wire on the back with the resr of the wires. From the head unit you just need to run the RCA cables and the remote cable to the amp.

Here is the install manual for your HU.... you can see in the specs where the remote line is.

I'm getting ready to install an Eclipse AVN6610 in my tC. Can anyone tell me if the factory harness is the same as the 87-up Toyotas? Also, do I need anything special to be able to use the steering wheel controls? Someone mentioned a PAC interface.

eww at scoshe. www.metraonline.com (http://www.metraonline.com)

click on "what fits my vehicle" TADA!

Scion wiring harness is a 70-1761 or 80-1761

Scion dash kit is 99-8209 for single din 95-8202 for double din

no antenna adapter needed. If you don't have a "remote" wire on your sony harness, the gray wire is accessory in the factory harness--tap into that.

:D

any other questions feel free to ask! :)
