I am installing one of the OEM iPod ready head units and would really like to get an OEM iPod cable or the pin-outs. Can anyone help me out?

to the guy above me, if you only have an aux. jack and not a specific iPod jack like the tC's, the factory head unit should come with the wire to hook up the iPod. If not, contact the dealer you got it from and bitch til they give you the wire. (it works, I know I work @ the dealership.)

You might have missed that I am driving the xA Release Series 1.0 ... and they don't have an AUX or any other kind of jack for the head unit. This is one of the reasons I now have the head unit from the 2006 xB Release Series 3.0 ... it does have the iPod connector on the back of the head unit ... so I need the cable the goes from the head unit down to the center console.

Is that diagram for the 06 and below or also for the 08 Xb? I have an 08 Xb now and I have the upgraded pioneer deck in it and I can not see a remote amp turn-on wire out of the radio. Am I just missing it or dose it even have one? All of my power wire, rca's, ground ran and amps installed with one kicker 15 L7.

I just had automotive electronics install 4 10inch kicker subs with my upgraded scion radio and amp.

They can sure help

So which wire should I be hooking my remote wire for my amp up to? is that the "radio switch"?

there is a gray wire in the back of the radio is kind of thin just get a test light and probe it as you turn your ignition on and off

I installed a Viper 160XV remote start unit in my 05 xB yesterday, and it works well. However, the heater (and instrument cluster) does not come on (when remote started) until the key is turned to "on". The radio does come on. The orange "accessory" wire of the Viper is connected to the blue/red "accessory" wire of the xB.

Is there another "Heater" wire that needs to be connected? Will that require a separate relay?

Thanks.

Ight I have a 05 xB and I am putting "puddle lamps" in it ... witch means 4 superflux leds from Oznium. I'm putting one in each door and wanting to set it up so when I open the door the light comes on and shoots light ont he ground and when I close it and my dome light goes off the puddle lamps go off too.. now I've wired this same set up in a tC many times ... where I draw power from a unused spot on the fuse box and tap the neg into the blue wire on the dome light curcit. The question I'm asking is if the dome light curcit negitve wire is blue in the xB just like the tC
