ok, Seattle-Everett-Tacoma-Puget Sound chapter
First UNOFFICIAL meet will be THIS Saturday August 21st, at 3:00pm. because I'm to impatient to wait for someone who is "stuck" in Hawaii. haha

I haven't called to make sure it's ok yet but here's the address

There is a Scion Dealer near by. You need to go hit that place up for members. Tagg all the customers leaving with there new cars or the service area works too, lol..

The decals I am working on. Though we won't be able to run the logos until we are officially a chapter. Which I am still waiting to here back on. But with a large west coast scikotics car show this weekend, it might be sometime before we hear anything. Plus we will have to wait till we have an official chapter meeting which won't be coming until after we get chapter recognition. I am working on it all right now trying to help things move forward.

To be honest, I still like the plain and Simple Seattle Scikotics.

Seapug Scikotics or Scikotics Seapug just dose not sound right either way you say it. Trust me, say it out loud and see how it sounds.

Then Seatac, I don't want to be mistaken for something dealing with the airport. To be Seatac Scikotics, someone will be mistaking us for something at the airport rather than a car club.

This is just my opinion on this.

Meet update - just talked with Bob Bridge Scion in renton, they have some free space on the lot, but aren't entirely sure yet, i'll be getting a call tomorrow from the sales manager to whether or not we can have our meet there... check this thread tomorrow and saturday for news on whether or not it will be there and what time.

the problem with Seapug scikotics that i have, is the point of our chapter is to know where we call home and as for meets that may have to do with other chapters and areas, they are going to say what the F*** is seapug? seattle scikotics is simple and too the point. if you don't want a name that just comes out and says Seattle then you need to come up with a still well know iconic name that describes Seattle or the Puget sound area but doesn't take a translator to explain it too you. and i hate pugs so that might be why I'm not crazy about the name either....

I've decided to push the meet into the evening tomorrow, that way if people have to work or have prior plans, they can still make it out. and for people that missed the SL meet tonight are welcome to join. here is all the info that i just posted on SL.

I'm throwing together a Seattle Scikotics meet (SL members more than welcome to come) its going to be in the parking garage next to "Regal the Landing Stadium 14" off of I-405 EXIT #5 in Renton. The meet will start at 8:00pm, August 21st. and be on the top level of the parking garage, unless for some reason you see us before you get to the top.. obviously stop and park.

Take exit 5 toward Park Ave N
Merge RIGHT onto NE Park Dr

Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that came out to tonights meet on such short notice. We had a pretty good turnout and a really good time. for those of you that asked, heres the pictures from tonight -

you guys are awesome! sorry for the late responses to everything, but yes, i was out in Reno working Pandemonium last weekend, and took a little break for myself since i have been going nuts over this show the past 9 months. im still on a break mentally lol, but honestly, have i ever not been???

looks like you all really got this thing up and running. congrats! its not the easiest thing to do.

i would like to see at least one or two more meets before things become official. this is in no way to piss in your cheerios, but i just want to make sure there is a solid and committed group of members out there before setting everything up. dont worry, at this rate, things will be set in stone before you know it! keep up the great work.

oh, and on a personal note, i do like the Sea-Tac thing for a chapter name. it is easily identifiable to others outside the area, and encompasses a larger area to where you all live. just my .02

Thanks again Jason. Yea Sea-tac would probably be best since we are covering a area from Everett to Tacoma and everything in between. You are right there.

Its np at all, I understand the staying around things. I know some chapters pop up one week and are gone the next week. Plus I know we have somethings to work on before becoming official. I have been saying that a chapter won't happen over night and will take some time. Thanks again Jason for everything.

P.S. from what I heard you did a great job with Pandemonium, wish I could have been there but didn't make it out of here on time like I wanted. There is always next year right.

More meets? done.. i can have them all scheduled and people commited by tonight haha.. we all really want this.. plenty of activity goin on up here. people that aren't even in the club yet are texting me trying to find out where the next meet will be.

I'm going to the scion life meet at bellevue scion at 8 friday night, going to evergreen to watch the drifts before that.. saturday works for me..
