Need Tail Light Help!

Hey guys, hows it going?

So I've got my 2009 scion tC, and its pretty sexy and good to go. Got my black rims, 5% tint, HIDS, underbody lighting, lowered blah blah blah its awesome. Problem is yesterday I got pulled over, the cops where I live are pretty straight about window tint (the guy didn't even mention it) but he did tell me to fix my tail lights.

This is understandable since I blacked out the tail lights myself, and did them WAY too dark, so you can barely tell when I'm braking. My question for you is:

What new tail lights should I get for a 2009 tc? I'd like to have some smoked out ones, but its more important to me for them to be reliable down the road. (no pun intended)

(In case you are wondering why not just fix the tint, I guess it would be possible but it would look shabby since I've done a lot of sanding etc. to them)

I just put these on my tC about a month ago. They come lightly smoked and are really bright LED's, check em out!

How did you smoke them?
I had stock 08 ones lightly smoked and then sanded down to where you can almost see the chrome rings in them when the light hits it right. when they are on at night, you cant even tell they are smoked.
