I had the srs in my tc too, and I kinda thought about adding gagues just to monitor more sensors in the engine.
there's a thead on SL, I don't know if you've seen it, but someone asked the same kinda question. multiple pictures of creative little places. From memory ... and I don't know offhand how 60mm sits bc I don't have a car atm lol ... but there were ppl that mounted them in front of the speedo, on the dash next to the driver's side windo defrost vent, someone used a flex tube mounted inside the center console dubby and it bent and sat next to the stereo roughly, but the best I recall was mounted inside the cubby with a CF plate, someone else on the scikotics website here asked the same thing and that was recomended.
I'll look for the SL post and throw it up here

Even though you have side curtains I think you can still use the pillar guages. The curtains don't come anywhere from the pillar. The only thing that is in the pillar are the gas actuators. In the event of a crash the pillar will not move neither will the molding. I have seen pictures of side curtain activations and the pillar stayed in tact. Don't just take my word for it but if you search I think you can find it.

you can also get a pretty slick cf plate if you have a 1 din cd player and put your gauges in there. i would also HIGHLY recommend you get EGT and oil PRESS. Safety first
