it's gonna sound worse with the header - you could always get a resonator welded on, but it would be cheaper to just have a muffler shop weld on 2.5" pipe to each side of the stock resonator...talk to muffler shops first - custom is cheaper in this case.

hey i have a stock midpipe with an aero25 resonator welded in between the 2nd cat and the oem resonator sounds really good with headers and axel back almost eliminates all rasp caused by headers. want to sell cause im not doing headers if your interested. but i would need your factory midpipe as well. so idk.all u would be doing is pulling out resonator and putting it in your new midpipe but the down fall is u would not have a factory midpipe. just a suggestion.

nevermind you live really far away. shipping on a none seperatable midpipe would be rediculous and i would be SOL without a midpipe for a while and i need my car lol. i would just recommend the aero25 resonator for your new midpipe. should sound great.

its not a bad mid pipe for the price but your gonna need at least two 15' resonators welded on it to get rid of the rasp from the header

what will 2.5" pipes do on each side of the stock resonator?

Not much. the stock resonator will be a bottleneck.
