I love a vacuum gauge. I have one in each of my two out of my three boxes. My bride doesn't want one. lol Its hard to find it without the boost now days.
A vacuum gauge is great when you install it with no engine problems. As you get to know it, its becomes very routine. Until you have a problem.
The gauge acts differently, indicating a potential problem. Like a dirty or clogged air filter, a leaky gasket, cracked intake, lots of possibilities.
Doesn't tell you whats wrong, only that something is not 100%.
It's like when you take a drink from a straw that's cracked.
The cool thing about them is you can watch your gas millage better. The higher the vacuum, the better the gas millage.
