This is a Pot-Luck barbeque of sorts in that we need everyone who is going to contribute something to it. If you are travelling a long way off, please consider bringing things that do not spoil. :)

Hmmmm.... Quick restaurant math, there are 18 people on the list, so I am guessing that will be maybe 25-30 burgers that people will eat. (Some of us are big eaters, but not all.) Now if there are 8 buns to a pack, I am guessing 4 packs would do it since that would be 32 buns... What do you think?

sure. i was thinking the park and ride off 123 and old bridge rd. down near 95. i figure its a good meeting spot that way we just hop on the highway and be off. its about a 2 hour drive to the dealership so i say if anyone wants to meet up there at around 8 that would be cool

My plan is to head home after class Friday, get the fam and head back down. (I am teaching here tomorrow and Fri...) I am hoping to be back here around 6-7 Friday, and we can get the shopping then. (We got a hotel room in Chester.) I was planning on us helping you setup on Saturday morning.

For burgers, let's shoot for a little extra because some folks can eat two. So say four packs of rolls, and I will get 32 patties.

Whoever is getting the soda, I'd suggest getting cans or small bottles, but if it is easier to get 2 Liters, can you also get cups?

I am going to confirm with two others tonight whether they will be coming or not. No worries though, My nannie (grandmother) is going with me tomorrow to get a head start on some extras shopping. Well disc golf (which jason would whoop all of our butts in btw LOL) theres a sand pit and a volleyball net, a space for football.. theres a playground (YEY!!) and lots and lots of places for the more hyper of us (tee hee) to run around in :Vache04:

First up, I wanted to thank everyone who came to our NoVA Barbeque!

The barbeque was a great success. We had great food, great fun, and the unforgetable experience of Snoplow singing his rendition of "I'm Too Sexy." (Did anyone get that on video, that is one of those moments that needs to be shared with the masses!)

Many of you brought the various ingredients we needed to pull this off and I wanted all of you to who did to know that it was because of your contributions that this event was as much the success that it was.

I also wanted to thank Antonio over at Priority Scion who loaned us his banner and gave us all the cool Scion swag and CD's.

I also wanted to thank Jackie for all her hard work for wrangling the location, the DJ, and for covering all of those details that nobody notices unless they were forgotten. You did an awesome job!

I think everyone had a great time, and I think some great ideas were shared. If you took any photos, please post them up in this forum!

We have some irons in the fire for exciting upcoming activities, and I am looking forward to seeing you all there!
