Well to be honest you have so many choices and routes you can take on getting a HID kit.... you def should not need to replace the housing with any HID kit you buy since most of them are plug and play....

I would def start with a search through our site supporters you may find a great deal... I have had a kit I ordered from www.hidextra.com for under $100 and it was an 8000K slim ballast kit never had one problem with them...if you want something real cheap go with an ebay brand kit... just remember you get what you pay for!! lol

Like Jay said hidextra.com is the best place to go. I got the 6000k HIDs with the relay harness and could not be happier. Plus the warrenty and customer service at hidextra.com are top notch

I have HIDextra.com set of 5000k. From my understanding 4600 is the brightest light you can get, but I wanted a little bit of a clear tint instead of a yellow hue. I got my high beams for 58 bucks shipped off there. You need a discount code for that. If you want that PM me and I can see if I can find it.

I just installed the HidExtra kits and they were plug and play and work great... They are also on sale for this week only for 43.99 a kit... I jumped on the deal and bought 6000K for my headlights and driving lights...

If you have not bought your lights yet, check out ddmtuning.com. They have a lifetime guarantee on their hid kits and are very competitive with their pricing. I think i paid 50 shipped to my door for the non high beam 6k kit. Check it out.
