Ok ... I thought I really had all the tC stuff down, but they through me for a loop... I know nothing about the new changes in the 07 models. I'm looking at an 07 SW, just like my 06, but I wanted to know what I'm looking at here ...
A.) Is there a compatible CAI for the 07 MAF sensor's yet?
B.) Is there a compatible header for the 07 exhaust manifold yet?
Going along with A & B, what current if any products are compatible, and for those that aren't compaible, namely the Injen CAI, Megan S-Pipe, and Strup or Megan headers, are any of them in development and planning to release versions for the 07's.
I honestly haven't paid much attention to SL lately, and there's where I've always started for info. The Search option is CRAP HONESTLY bc it sorts by most recent post, not most relavent..... :x:
Thanks for the help all!

For '07 tc, there is no compatible CAI yet and as for header, i believ eit is. The only change in that area is the durability of the o2 sensor i believe. I read somehwere that Injen is in the progress of a '07 CAI.

No, there are no aftermarket intakes and headers compatable with the '07 MAF and O2 sensor (Pre-cat)

yea ... i knew the maf was all changed up, and I'd heard the o2 sensor was changed, but I'd only ever heard questions about the MAF and the manifold ... which would probably be a quick redesign ... but if its the o2 ... well ... that means not only did the make it stronger, than they probably changed how reads the exhaust being put out ...
..... soooo .......
anyone got an 06 super white tC w/ lip kit, pedistal spoiler, TYC tailights, and fod lights they wanna sell me? hm?? hmmm????????? HHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?????????

I just dont see the value in it personally. and for it to not even be able to fit the TRD supercharger, which is one of their big selling points on the pamphlet ...

yea .... but still .. its a "tuner" edition ... what are you going to do with that giant peice of glass over your head? You can't crack it open and let air out .... and the view isn't all that great yanno lol
I just cant downgreade to a panoramic glass roof and steelies for that. It was a thought when I was looking at the other cars, but it's just not in the sights anymore.

well when i had a tC I hated the sunroof I had a sunroof in a plymouth voyager and it leaked all the time. The rubbers gets old and will crack overtime. I would like to pull the glass and well some sheet metal there IMO.

and it's really not even so much that neither of us would get the supercharger ... but how could you, as a developer, overlook that? What else was overlooked? Or ... ok, you're ok w/ making that decision. Redesigned manifold, header, o2 sensor ... ok that's great, as a developer I can deal with that, they'll still buy it and patiently wait while we get the modified parts out. So what other things about the consumer are you taking for granted?
That's just how I see it ... I still love my tC :loveit:

I see your point but maybe those changes were for the better you know that the first of any car is the guinea pig.

Kaminari makes the roof in carbon fiber or fiberglass

Sure enough, they do! for $700 and $1000. and for that much money I need to have pictures, unpainted preferably, depisting both the install process and the product installed.
sounds cool tho
